The Fold

A pocket square not only adds depth and visual interest to your blazer, but it also is a valuable
form of self-expression.  How you choose to rock your Pocket Floss is all on your own accord and
is a definition of your personal taste.

There are infinite ways to fold a pocket square—some simple and some more complicated.
As with anything, practice makes perfect and a little time invested in the skill upfront will ensure
you can wear the pocket square any way you want with ease and flair.
We’ve got a few examples below, some more casual while others are more formal.  We’d love to
see your folds, so post them, and tag ‘em:  #PocketFloss

The Classic Fold

Wear it at the office or on a first date, this fold is great for all occasions: casual and formal.  Not
only is it simple, but also easy to fold.  Not to mention that all Mr. Hankee pocket squares come
pre-folded as the classic.

1.  Fold your pocket square in half
2.  Fold your pocket square in half again to form a square
3.  Fold your pocket square in half again and ensure the ends are flush and even
4.  Insert the folded square into your pocket and adjust as necessary

The One Point Square Fold

This fold is a bit more formal then The Classic.  It goes great with solid colored ties and the
classic white shirt.  Its a sharp look so keep it simple with clean lines.

1.  Fold your pocket square in half twice to form as square
2.  Point your pocket square upward and fold in half into a triangle
3.  Fold in the corners to the size of your pocket
4.  Insert the folded square into your pocket and adjust as necessary

The Puff Fold

This fold is one of the most versatile.  It does require a bit of stretching and fiddling with to get
it neat in your pocket, however, it looks great and has plenty of visual appeal.  Wear this fold to
pull some attention your way regardless if it's formal or casual.

1.  Lay out your pocket square flat, pinch the center, and lift it up
2.  Form a ring around your pocket square with your index finger and thumb of your other hand
and slide it down almost to the bottom
3.  Fold over the pointed edges
4.  Insert the folded square into your pocket and adjust as necessary

The Crown Fold

This fold is the reverse of The Puff Fold.  It looks amazing and is an eye-catcher.  This fold is
great for social events where you may desire some attention.

1.  Lay out your pocket square flat, pinch the center, and lift it up
2.  Form a ring around your pocket square with your index finger and thumb of your other hand
and slide it down almost to the bottom
3.  Fold over the rounded side
4.  Insert the folded square into your pocket and adjust as necessary
